About Us

Jack Kline grew up with construction flowing through his blood as one grandfather owned a lumberyard another worked as a carpenter and building inspector as well as a father who built numerous houses. Weekends as a kid were spent on a construction site with a hammer in his hands.
After graduating from the University of Alabama with an engineering degree, Jack worked for Wellman Friction & Brake and Perry Nuclear Power Plant before deciding to start his construction company. Jack founded Kline Construction 20 years ago to combine his engineering background, hands-on skills and passion for building and design to life.
In the early years, Kline started renovating homes in the Ohio City area of Cleveland, Ohio. Realizing the limitations involved with renovations, Jack decided to switch gears and focus on new construction. Finding no home plans for small urban lots existed, Jack challenged himself to design his own custom plans, which would fit within lots as small as 30 feet wide. This allowed him to be involved and use his expertise in all phases from design to construction.
Whether it’s a custom home built from the ground up, a luxury remodel, or renovation to your current residence, Kline Construction is dedicated to bringing your vision to reality and ultimately exceeding your expectations.
